Around 135 000 eye injuries in the workplace are reported every year in Europe, and many more go unreported. Studies show that 90% of eye injuries are preventable. In this webinar we will discuss the key elements of a successful eye and face protection programme: Understanding the hazards, matching the hazards with the protective features of eyewear or face shields, ensuring compatibility with other PPE, and providing effective user training.

The most important features of safety eyewear and face shields are the protective features as described by the EN 166 Standard. A secure fit and comfort are the next most important features as they are directly related to safety and compliance. In this webinar we will discuss the science behind the development of safety eyewear, and how 3M technologies aim for a comfortable and secure fit on a wide range of head shapes and sizes and for compatibility with other PPE.
