The 2DCYPHER™ system is designed for high throughput individual sample identification. The 96 cluster tubes are held in a heavy duty, lockable rack. The tubes are held accurately in their rack positions to ensure reliable ‘pick and place' robotic handling. Each tube is individually labelled with a Data Matrix™ and human readable code, which is fully encapsulated behind an optically clear PP window to protect against damage by abrasion and chemical solvents (including DMSO. The 2DCYPHER™ tubes are available in a number of well shape and end cap options. For most applications the flat V internal well design (to reduce dead volume) and the rounded end cap (to aid tube placement) is the most suitable option.
