D(+)-Trehalose dihydraat
D-Trehalose is a non-reducing homodisaccharide found in both higher and lower life forms, but not Mammalians. Its role is thought to prevent protein denaturation under stress. This phenomena has led to trehalose’s use in protein stabilization during freeze drying.
VWR St. Louis manufactured D-Trehalose meets the customers’ needs in several ways:
- GMP manufactured material
- Available in Bulk packaging
- Quality at or above the regulatory demands in the FDA Audited facility
- Transparency throughout the supply chain
- BSE/TSE Free, as it originates from a plant source
